Two Halves of Mind

Now, when you say I can’t

I say, “Oh but I can”.

Now, when you say I shouldn’t

I say, “Oh but I will”.

Now when you say it won’t work

I say, “Oh, but it already has”.

Now when you laugh,

I laugh too.

We are chronicles of the same existence.

Yours is the power of fear,

Mine the power of truth.

We are one,

We are the same,

We are different versions of equal energy.
I have no need to fight you,

I have no need to blame you.
You are merely a sleeping version,

A crude and unexplored version,

You are merely an underdeveloped version of me.
